Funai Research Institute Group to raise starting salary for new graduates hired in fiscal year 2027 to 350,000 yen.

Based on the medium-term management plan " sustainable growth 2028", Accelerate human capital management and strengthen competitiveness in recruitment consultants.

Funai Soken Holdings Inc. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President and Group CEO : Takayuki Nakatani) has decided to raise the starting salaries for new graduates joining the company in fiscal year 2027, primarily for consultant positions within its group companies.

Background and Objectives
Our group's group purpose is " Sustainable Growth for More Companies " In our medium-term management plan " sustainable growth 2028," which started in fiscal year 2026, we have set "Becoming a leading company in consulting for mid-market leaders " and "Expanding AX (AI Transformation) and DX consulting" as key policies for our growth strategy. In order to realize these strategies and continue to provide high-value-added professional services in a seamless manner to address the increasingly sophisticated and diverse management challenges of our clients, securing and development excellent consultants and engineers is essential.

Therefore, in order to promote "human capital management," which is a key issue for the sustainable enhancement of corporate value, we will implement a "starting salary increase for new graduates" as part of Initiatives to accelerate the three drivers of human capital management (increase in the number of consultants, improvement in productivity, and expansion of expected length of service). Against the backdrop of intensifying competition in the current recruitment market, we will strengthen recruitment competitiveness by raising starting salaries, and aim to achieve our 2028 target of "a system of 1,400 consultants" and expand ELTV (Employee Life Time Value).

Regarding the alignment of business strategy and human resource strategy
Our group is promoting a "loop model" that simultaneously drives the cycle of business model and human capital management, based on the theme of "Sustainable Growth for People and Companies." This increase in starting salaries and improvement of treatment for existing employees is not merely an improvement in compensation, but will become the driving force of a sustainable growth cycle, where each employee grows with high motivation, brings higher performance results to our client companies, and generates further investment in compensation improvements and recruitment and development .
