Funai Soken Holdings Inc. , Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President and Group CEO : Takayuki Nakatani) and Funai Soken Group Funai Soken Group held a joint job offer ceremony for 215 prospective employees who are scheduled to join the company FY on Friday, October 10th. The ceremony was held online, connecting three locations: the Tokyo headquarters ( Sustainable Growth Square TOKYO), the Osaka headquarters, and Shanghai.
* Funai Soken Holdings Inc. holds its job offer ceremony in the second week of October each year, avoiding China's National Day holiday.

The job offer ceremony consisted of two parts: individual programs for each company to deepen understanding of each company, and a joint program to foster a sense of camaraderie among the new hires.
Each company's individual program included congratulatory speeches from representatives, the presentation of job offer certificates, commemorative photos, and workshops to deepen expertise. Meanwhile, the luncheon brought together all prospective employees from all group companies and was conducted in a shuffled format, with groups formed across different business companies, allowing them to interact with their future colleagues beyond company boundaries.
Generally, the job offer ceremony tends to become merely a rite of passage. However, given the recent trends of "prolonged job hunting" and "increasing rates of candidates declining job offers after accepting them," it is necessary to restructure the ceremony as an opportunity to foster a sense of satisfaction with the company they will join and to increase their expectations for joining the company.
Our group has redefined the job offer ceremony as a "strategic measure" to enhance the engagement of prospective employees. To foster a sense of purpose and belonging within the organization, we actively introduce unique programs tailored to each company, and update them every year.
For example, Funai Soken Holdings Inc. held an afternoon tea party as a get-together for prospective staff members. The venue was decorated in a Halloween theme, creating a relaxed and friendly atmosphere where the Gen Z prospective employees could comfortably interact.
HR Force also conducted an experiential team-building activity aimed at fostering mutual understanding and building a foundation for teamwork among the prospective employees. On the day of the event, participants tackled various games that required collaboration, such as "WHO IS THE SPY?", the AI-powered "Let's! Gemini," and "Paper Tower Game." The prospective employees enjoyed themselves while stimulating communication and building trusting relationships that will be valuable after they join the company.

Funai Soken Group believes that the active participation of diverse talent is the source of sustainable growth. We have set "proactive investment in human resources" as a key policy in our management plan, and are working to strengthen our human capital by setting specific goals such as increasing the number of consultants who form the core of our business, enhancing training programs to deepen expertise, and strengthening our performance-based compensation system. By creating Environment our new colleagues can fully challenge themselves and shine, we aim to achieve further development of the group and contribute to Society .
